The Ice Sculptor

This is my final assignment from School of Motion’s Animation Bootcamp.

The point of the class was to teach the principals of animation, not just how to use After Effects. No matter what program you use, the principals remain the same. Things should move with intention, show feelings, express themselves, and breathe life into an otherwise still image.

That message is culminated into the final assignment - a :60 second spot showcasing all of the principals of animation: Oscillations, Anticipation, Overshoot, Follow-through, Squash and Stretch, Secondary animation, Reinforcing movement, and Eye trace.

They provided the artwork and the audio, and I brought it to life.
